What is boba tea?
Originating in Taiwan in the 1980s, boba tea is a cold-served drink with a tea base with milk or fruit flavour and edible pearls. A classic boba milk tea is served with tapioca balls made from starch, which is usually referred to as ‘pearls’. With this recipe, you can adjust sugar and milk up to taste to make this drink ‘guilty free’.
This collagen drink guarantees a unique drinking experience like no other. Right at your first sip, you can taste the sweet and chewy pearls, well-mixed with the delightful taste of our collagen black tea. This drink is so addictive - you just can’t help to drink it non-stop.
Is this collagen drink good for your health?
In this collagen drink recipe, we use Fusspot Collagen Beauty Tea’s blend “THE HEADLINER” collagen-infused loose leaf black tea as the base. Fusspot’s THE HEADLINER is a delicious organic black blend loose leaf tea, combining assam black tea, ceylon black tea, white tea (silver needle) and rose petals, blended with hydrolyzed collagen peptides to help enhance your skin, hair and nails and overall beauty from within. This collagen tea formulation is created to benefit your system from the inside, boost energy, help treat digestion and detoxify your system, as well as reduce inflammation. Antioxidants found in black tea also help promote multiple health benefits as well, including reducing free radicals and signs of ageing.
