Don’t worry – the hydrolyzed collagen peptides powder you can see in your loose leaf and in your teabags is completely normal, and there is some excess that will fall out!  It’s not that you’ll be losing that amount, because we’ve ensured that we have overfilled each blend in our tea mixer machines so that you gain the maximum amount possible in each serve. Don’t be alarmed, the collagen is definitely there in every serving but that’s why we ask you to shake your loose leaf pouch first to disperse the collagen, and why your teabags are in their plastic inner bag… We use pyramid shaped soilon material teabags which allows the large, hand picked tea leaves and herbs to swirl around much better inside the bag when your pour your hot water in - and they also show what’s inside the teabag better. You may have noticed most cheaper teabags are opaque and with good reason, as many cheaper brands contain a low quality grit of tea-leaves – but not Fusspot Collagen Beauty Teas – our tea is high quality tea – hence the use of pyramid soilon teabags which are transparent and the tea leaves are showcased proudly. We use Soilon teabag material/bags as they are compostable and biodegradable ( so we do not use plastic teabag material – ie:
no nano-plastics for you!), and we also chose to use soilon because it’s better for the environment. The mesh material of soilon is a larger loop/mesh - which means our hydrolyzed collagen peptide powder (which is extremely fine) and is mixed with our tea blends, can 'spill' once the teabags are filled – therefore
we overstuff every teabag in the teabagging machine, to allow for the collagen to ‘spill’ through the soilon mesh. This is very normal, and you can consume this too from the bottom of the polybag inside
the box. Our soilon teabags, are
overstuffed to allow for a small % to fall/spill, FYI - Tea leaves are a humectant, and therefore the blending of our Verisol Collagen and the tea-leaves in the tea mixer machines means that at the time of stuffing the teabags in the bagging machine that the
collagen adheres to the tealeaves but as the tea leaves naturally dry further
the collagen can 'spill' – this is very normal – so a little of the collagen which is very fine may escape each teabag. We also think soilon teabags are better for the collagen to easily absorb once you pour your hot or cold water over the teabag.

We are all becoming far more environmentally conscious and purchasing more and more eco-friendly and green products, so you’ll be happy to know that our pyramid teabags are made from Soilon which is a lactic acid derived from corn-starch, and which is completely biodegradable, compostable, and sustainable without compromising the quality of the tea inside the bag and can withstand the addition of hot water.  These bags will completely break down, without contributing to the plastic pollution in the form of microplastics! Furthermore, both the non-bleached string and the tag of the tea bag are made of the same material. The whole teabag is biodegradable – that’s why we are only able to print on one side of our tea-tags because we chose this specific material…. And we love that!

Each blend has been formulated with various teas, tisanes, plants and herbs to support your complexion, skin, hair, body health and wellness, to assist in giving your skin and body a boost, to promote a healthy glow, to help cleanse your body and to support collagen levels, all from the inside! We advise our customers that since every body is different, and taking into consideration your skin-type, your age, the amount of sun damage, and other pollutants you've been exposed to such as environment, smoking, sugar-intake and daily UV exposure, we see varying timelines for results.
